On February 25, 2016 at 6:00 p.m., in the Emergency Operations Center located in the City of Belmont at One Twin Pines Lane, City staff will host the second community workshop for the City’s Belmont Village Specific Plan project. This workshop will educate the public about the purposes of the Specific Plan, the planning process, and continuing opportunities for involvement. Attendees will see multiple options for future land uses, transportation improvements, and public realm improvements that may be implemented in order to foster a “town center” environment in the Village area. Participants will have the opportunity to express their preferences among the various options and suggest additional ideas for consideration.
The City of Belmont is noticing this staff hosted workshop as a special meeting of the City Council and Planning Commission so that the members of both bodies may attend and participate in compliance with the Brown Act.
