7A. Public Hearing – 1300 El Camino Real

To consider a Conditional Use Permit allowing an office use to replace a retail use on the ground floor of an existing commercial building at 1300 El Camino Real. The proposal includes no new exterior construction and will divide the existing building into two tenant spaces. The Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center has proposed to occupy one of the tenant spaces in the 9,940 square foot building. (Appl. No. 01-0043)

7B. Public Hearing – 3004 San Juan Avenue

To consider a Single Family Design Review to remodel the existing 2,414 square foot single family residence. The proposed remodel will remove a covered deck and add a new family room, a master bedroom, bathroom, dressing room and walk-in closet, and two covered deck/patio areas for a total of 2,869 square feet in a zoning district that permits 3,500 square feet.

7C. Public Hearing – 2130 Ralston Avenue

To consider a Conditional Use Permit and Design Review to allow a wireless satellite radio relay facility by XM Satellite Radio that consists of one 26-inch high satellite dish to be mounted on the rooftop and one 70-inch high omni antenna to be mounted on the parapet of an existing office building, and equipment cabinet to accommodate XM Satellite Radio’s equipment in the basement of the office building. This project includes co-location of this facility with two other wireless telecommunication facilities on the same site.

7E. Public Hearing - 911 Granada Street & 601 Masonic Way

To consider a General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, Conditional Use Permit, Design Review, and Tree Removal Permit to allow construction of a new 9,166-square foot South County Fire Authority (SCFA) station. The proposed new Fire Station No. 14 would include a single-story apparatus bay, ground floor offices, and training, fitness and storage rooms. The second floor includes sleeping quarters, kitchen/dining area, and restrooms. The proposal includes an 11-space parking lot within the northern portion of the site for the building.

7F. Public Hearing – 1040 Alameda De Las Pulgas, Immaculate Heart of Mary

To consider a Conditional Use Permit to establish a Detailed Development Plan and Design Review, Tree Removal Permit, Grading Plan, Parking Variance, and Secretary of Interior Standards for a Historical Structure for approximately 70,329 square feet of new construction including a multi-use building and an assisted living facility. The 10-acre campus currently contains approximately 37,081 square feet of building floor area which accommodates both academic and religious activities. The applicant is proposing to increase building square footage on the site by 70,329 square feet for a total of 102,910 square feet of structure. Included in these figures is the demolition of the existing 4,500 square foot vacant parish hall building located on the corner of Ralston Avenue and Alameda De Las Pulgas.
