NNOWe understand your time is precious, so we are planning to provide you with up to date information so you have greater control over your drive, with insights that allow you to discover the best route so you can save time.  

We are bringing you the traffic advisory weekly updates on currently known roadway and related projects, and private utility work (based on street encroachment permits), to provide you an opportunity to look ahead, plan your travel times and check delays due to various street activities.  

   

Tahoe Drive at Ralston Avenue

October 15 - October 18

9 AM – 3 PM

Paving and landscape contractors will be working on Ralston Avenue and Tahoe Drive, installing landscape and possible paving.

Traffic control will be in place and lane closures are expected.

Ralston Ave (Ralston Corridor Improvement Project)

October 10 -October 18

Lane closures will be intermittent 

# 1 & # 2 Lane on El Camino Real (NB) at from Ralston Ave to Emmet Ave

# 1 & # 2 Lane on El Camino Real (SB) at from Ralston Ave to Emmet Ave

# 2 Lane on Old County Road (NB)  

Traffic control will be in place.

Mid-Peninsula Water - Water Main Project

October 7 - October 11

8 AM – 4:30 PM

The contractor continues to work on the service laterals near Valley View Avenue. Beginning October 7, the contractor will be focusing at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and Valley View Avenue getting ready to connect the new water main to the system.

Work hours continues to be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  Thank you for your cooperation and apologize for the inconvenience and delays during the project.

During construction hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm motorists can expect one lane traffic control and up to 15 minute delays through this area, in addition please be aware of heavy equipment, construction personnel, and increased noise levels.

Access for local Residents and Emergency Vehicles will be maintained at all times.

1401 Shoreway Road

Shoreway Road Sewer Project

October 10 -October 18

8 AM – 5 PM

The contractor will be starting work on Monday, September 30th on the sewer rehabilitation project on Shoreway Road between 1401 and 1385 Shoreway Road.

Shoreway Road will be CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC during construction hours 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with detours posted.

Traffic will be detoured through Redwood Shores along Twin Dolphin Drive during construction hours. During the evening hours, one traffic lane will be reopened utilizing temporary traffic signals along Shoreway Road.

Raslton Avenue at Sixth Avenue

October 15

9 AM – 3PM

Traffic Operations will be installing a traffic camera at the intersection of Ralston Ave and Sixth Ave. One lane westbound and one lane eastbound will be affected. Traffic control will be in place and emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
