Home MenuThe street and sidewalk systems allow for the safe multi-mode travel of automobiles, bicycles, and pedestrians within the City. These infrastructure systems are comprised of public roads, center medians, safety railings/fencing, accessibility ramps and sidewalks, curbs and gutters.
Roadway Maintenance
The Streets Division is responsible for maintaining over 69 center-line miles of streets, roadway repairs, pothole fills, crack sealing and street sweeping.
Sidewalks, Curbs and Gutters
Adjacent property owners are responsible for the construction, maintenance and repair of the sidewalk (including curbs, gutters, paved or unpaved areas), and overgrown vegetation adjacent to or fronting on any portion of their property.
Traffic Operations -street lights, signs and signals
Traffic operations includes traffic signals, street lights, regulatory, warning and guide signage, roadway striping, painted curb, crosswalks and traffic calming devices to ensure safe and reliable mobility that meets the community's needs.
