Go on an adventure with us this summer! Each week of Camp Summer Outdoor Adventure Recreation, campers will experience games, crafts, water play, silly songs, make friends and learn in the beautiful natural setting of Twin Pines Park.

2019: Camp SOAR Frequently Asked Questions

 

HAWKS (K-2nd) 7:30am-2:00pm* or 7:30am-5:00pm

Campers experience some of the best parts of childhood including making new friends, learning independence, and going on endless adventures with the most passionate, creative, and qualified staff. Everyday the campers will be a part of a community that encourages them to try new things, be kind, explore, cooperate, and have fun! Weekly activities include games, crafts, hands-on sensory activities, songs, and field trips.

Full Day: $285 Resident / $295 non-resident

Partial Day: $240 Resident / $250 non-resident

*Partial Day Wednesdays ends at 4:00pm due to field trip schedule.

 

EAGLES (3rd-5th) 7:30am-5:00pm

Campers experience the adventure and excitement of the outdoors, meet new friends, and express their growing independence under the supervision of caring and qualified recreation staff. Camp activities include games, sports, weekly field trips, crafts, songs, skits, and water activities.

Full Day: $285 Resident / $295 non-resident

 

EXTENDED CARE (Camp SOAR only) 5:00-6:00pm

Extended care is open to all participants of all camp SOAR programs and includes fun large and  small group games, crafts and other winding down activities.

Weekly Fee: $20 Resident / $25 non-resident

What can I expect at Camp SOAR?

2-4 days before your camp week starts, you will receive an email notification with more information regarding the upcoming week.

Special Weekly Activities:

  • Wednesdays: Off-site Field Trips
  • Thursdays: Adventure Day
  • Fridays: Water Play

What To Pack: 

  • Camp t-shirt (Monday-Friday)
  • Closed toe shoes
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sun screen
  • Hat
  • Extra pair of clothes
  • Fridays Only: Please ensure your child has a swimsuit, flip flops, closed-toed shoes, towel, bag for wet items, and a change of clothes in addition to their camp clothes and camp t-shirt.

Lunch Info: 

  • Campers bring their own lunch and snacks. The safety of each child is a priority, therefore Camp SOAR is a “NUT-FREE ZONE”. Belmont supports environmentally responsible practices by encouraging campers to pack re-usable containers whenever possible and practice compositing and recycling throughout the program.
  • Please bring at least two big snacks and a lunch. Campers get hungry!
