Here we are, at the start of a new decade. How exciting!

Belmont Parks and Recreation Department is also on the cusp of exciting things.  In addition to offering a wide array of activities for all ages and keeping parks and fields in shape, we recently completed an upgrade to the O’Donnell Park playgrounds, are continuing to work on the Belmont Sports Complex Synthetic Turf Installation project, and will be embarking on a Parks and Open Space Master Plan to identify opportunities for short- and long-term improvements throughout the City.
Are you new to Belmont?  Want to know more about Parks & Rec? There are many ways to connect!  Join us for one of our signature events – Sweetheart Dance (2/7), and the Egg Adventure Hunt (4/11).
Check out the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center monthly newsletter to see the smorgasbord of things we offer our seniors!  Sign up to volunteer with your family, your colleagues, or come solo; we’ve got lots of one time or ongoing volunteer opportunities to engage with nature and with our community.
Come to a Parks & Rec Commission meeting – first Wednesday of the month, 7pm in Council Chambers.  We’re enhancing the quality of life for the community.  Let’s work together to make this new decade the best it can be!
