Brigitte Shearer "You'll never be bored if you try something new. There's really no limit to what you can do."

What perfect inspiration from Dr. Seuss for the coming year. The Parks & Recreation Department's mission to Enhance the Quality of Life for the Community gives us plenty of room to try new things. In this Winter/Spring Activity Guide, we're pleased to announce several new events, camps, and classes to keep your family engaged and active in 2019.

Looking for a Spring Break or Ski Week camp? We've got it! Want to plan summer camp weeks now so you can check it off your to-do list? We're ready to accept your registrations beginning January 9th (and there's even a limited time 10% early-bird discount). Want some one-on-one time with your child? The Traditional Father/Daughter Dance is now complemented by "Mom & Me Memory Box Workshop" in our Kids Carpentry Classroom at Barrett. Want to limit screen time on a Saturday? Join us at a 'Gone Fishing' event this spring at Water Dog Lake or a Trail Hike at Hidden Canyon.

Our Activity Guide is filled with oodles of favorite classes and activities for all ages , and our parks and hiking trails await your exploration. Maybe 2019 is the year you try something new! There's really no limit to what you can do!
