Annual neighborhood events are organized by local community leaders. If schedules permit, members of the City Council, City staff, Belmont Police, and the SMC Fire Department may visit these events with personnel and vehicles.

Join the City of Belmont, Belmont Police Department, and San Mateo County Libraries for a special National Night Out celebration on August 4 from 5:30–8 p.m. at Barrett Community Center!

This year, we’re going all out as part of Belmont’s Centennial Celebration, bringing the community together for an unforgettable evening filled with fun, connection, and celebration. Enjoy a BBQ dinner, Belmont’s birthday cake, family-friendly activities, a bouncy house, and more! Meet City staff, connect with neighbors, and spend the evening with community partners for a fun night celebrating the Belmont community.
