The Teen Center, located at the Belmont Library, is open Monday – Friday from 3pm to 6pm. The Teen Center area has tables and computers available for use by students ages 12 to 18. The area is supervised by dedicated library staff. Healthy light snacks are available for free (see below) or for purchase at the library vending machine. Teens are encouraged to socialize, collaborate on homework or other projects, or study quietly in a library study room (3pm to 5pm). In addition, the Teen Center staff plans fun and FREE programs (these activities begin at 3:30 in the Taube Room unless otherwise noted):

Tuesdays Teen Center Tuesdays (1st: No-cook Cooking, 2nd: Crafts, 3rd: Music Jam Session, 4th: Techy Tuesday)
Wednesdays Wild Wednesdays (1st: LGBT+ Spectrum Action Group, 2nd: Gaming, 3rd: Neutral Zone Discussion, 4th: Special Program)
Thursdays Thrilling Thursdays (2nd: Circle Up Discussion, 3rd: Teen Advisory Group Meeting, 4th: Life Hack Workshop)
Fridays Teen Center Birthday Party (one Friday a month)

Teen Zone, a teen program exclusively for middle schoolers, is located at Barrett Community Center. This FREE program is supervised by Parks & Recreation staff.
