INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
The City of Belmont invites sealed bids for public project construction described as: Twin Pines Park Belmont Creek Restoration Project (Phase One), City Contract No. 2024-635. The public project construction is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes the following work: grading, planting, irrigation, log and rootwad placement, riffle construction, creek dewatering, post and rail fencing, drinking fountain, and other miscellaneous items of work as identified in the Contract Documents (“the work”).
1. SOURCE OF PROJECT FUNDS: This Project DOES NOT involve federal funds.
2. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: None.
3. BID SUBMITTAL, WITHDRAWAL, IRREVOCABILITY: Bids must be submitted on the bid forms supplied by the City. Contractors are requested to drop off sealed proposals at the EOC room (Suite 210) at the Belmont City Hall located at 1 Twin Pines Lane, Belmont, CA 94002 (hereinafter the City) on Thursday February 20, 2025, between 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM local time. Any mailed delivery of sealed bid proposals must be confirmed with the City of Belmont, City Clerk’s Office at (650) 595-7414, jplut@belmont.gov The Bids will be publicly open at 2:00 PM on February 20, 2025 (“Bid Deadline”), at the EOC Room (Suite 210). Bids received after the bid deadline will not be accepted. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that its bid package is duly delivered. Bidders are solely responsible for the cost of preparing their bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period 60 days after the date set for bid opening, except as provided in Public Contract Code Section 5101 et seq.
