On Tuesday, Nov 23rd around 12pm, Belmont Police responded to a residence in the 2300 Block of Casa Bona Ave on a report of a recent burglary. A vehicle of interest was identified as a silver 2021 Jeep Compass with the California license plate of 8RVZ352. Security video in the area also captured an image of a suspect seen in the back yard of the victim's home. The suspect and vehicle are believed to be involved in other burglaries in the area. The Belmont Police are requesting that homeowners with security cameras in the area please review their video recordings for any suspicious activity around the time of the incident; particularly for video that captured the pictured vehicle and/or suspect. Anyone with any information related to this crime or the involved vehicle is asked to contact the Belmont P.D. at the above phone number or email address.
