2021 Nominations Close November 24, 2021, 5:00 P.M.
Belmont, CA —The City of Belmont City Council proudly announces the upcoming 15th Annual Beautiful Belmont Awards Program. The City is calling for nominations from the community for both the Residential and Commercial categories. Applications are due November 24th at 5:00 PM. Awards will be presented at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, December 14th at 6:00 PM.
"This long-standing program is an excellent opportunity for us to celebrate our community pride,” said City Manager Afshin Oskoui. “Over the last year we have come together to supported each other and this is a way for us to honor our neighbors and businesses who help make Belmont a desirable place to live, work and play!”
This recognition program is designed to acknowledge individuals, businesses, and community groups who have enhanced the City by making significant exterior improvements to their Belmont properties. Both residential and non-residential are eligible for consideration. In addition to new development and complete redevelopment projects, eligible improvements to existing properties include the enhancement, upgrading, reconstruction, or replacement of any or all of the following:
• Buildings and façades
• Landscaping
• Exterior lighting
• Vehicular and pedestrian access
• Exterior signage
