Belmont Celebrates Pride Month

Post Date:05/15/2020 1:23 PM

The City of Belmont has long supported the LGBTQ Community. In 2017, City Council formalized this support by passing a resolution affirming the civil rights, safety, and dignity of all community members.  In 2019, the City raised the Pride Flag for the first time in front of City Hall and is proud to do so again in 2020, although a gathering to celebrate this event is not possible.  The Cityā€™s commitment to recognizing, supporting, and safeguarding its LGBTQ individuals and to celebrating Pride Month with the LGBTQ community remains steadfast.
