Elderly Belmont Man with Dementia Missing Since 5:30 pm Monday

On Monday 8/26/19, at approximately 8:50 PM, Paul Patrick Farmer (84yrs) of Belmont, was reported missing by his wife.  She had last seen him earlier that evening at about 5:00pm in the area of their home (1600blk of Molitor Rd).  Paul was seen heading north on foot.  Video surveillance confirms he was walking north on Sunnyslope Ave at 5:44PM.  Paul is a white male, 5'11" tall and weighing about 140lbs. He was last seen wearing a red ball cap, prescription glasses, blue jeans and an light-colored wind breaker jacket.

 

 *****Update*****

San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services, along with Search and Rescue teams, worked through the night and have been unable to locate Paul.  This morning, it was reported that Paul was seen yesterday at 7:50 pm near the area of De Anza Blvd and Highway 92.  Office of Emergency Services are continuing to search for Paul who has now been missing for nearly 20hours!!.  Trained Search Dogs and air units continue to be utilized in this search & rescue operation.  Belmont Police Detectives are actively investigating tips from the community and are collaborating with local jurisdictions to track down Paul Farmer.  Belmont Police will continue to provide updates to the public via press releases and social media.
