Some friendly reminders about Belmont’s Open Space:
- The Salson Trail Culvert Replacement Project is slated to begin in early August and wrap up in mid-October. A portion of Salson Trail approximately 150 feet west of the Bartlett Way trailhead will be closed for the duration of the project. Please utilize alternate entrances/exits when accessing the San Juan Canyon Open Space. For more information on the project visit www.belmont.gov/salsonproject
- Should weather conditions indicate high fire danger in the area, the City may close access to open space.
- Stay off closed trail sections. Do NOT go around or move barriers or signs.
- Stay off wet trails. If you leave a tire or footprint, it is too wet.
