LINC Housing

In February 2018 the City Council adopted a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an exclusive negotiating agreement with LINC Housing, a Southern California based non-profit affordable housing developer, pertaining to potential development of a 100% affordable housing project on city-owned property located on the 800-900 block of El Camino Real at Hill Street.  

The project sites were initially acquired by the former Belmont Redevelopment Agency using Low-Moderate Income housing funds. 

Project Description

The proposed Project is located on two sites separated by Hill Street located along El Camino Real. Site β€œA” is located at 900 El Camino Real and Site β€œB” is located at 876, 884 and 898 El Camino Real. The project proposes a thirty-seven (37) unit, 100-percent affordable housing development across the two project sites. Site β€œA” will contain twenty-four (24) units and Site β€œB” will contain thirteen (13) units.  A total of eleven (11) tuck-under parking spaces would be provided on-site for the project.

CURRENT STATUS: Building Permit Review - Construction is expected to start in Spring 2025
