*Due to San Mateo County Health's COVID-19 recommendations, both the playgrounds and picnic areas shall remain temporarily closed.*
Park is open from sun up to sun down. Use of the Picnic tables and Horseshoe pits are open to the public unless there is a private rental. The area you may reserve includes eight picnic tables on Saturdays and Sundays. Located on the northern region of the park, it accommodates groups of up to 75 people. Tennis courts and playground are non-reservable and remain open for public use.
Interested in having a bounce house at your picnic rental?
- First, fill out a picnic rental permit (in person or online) and pay the fee to reserve the picnic are
- Secure special equipment from your preferred provider
- It is the permit holder’s responsibility to receive a certificate of insurance (via email or in person) from their special equipment provider; the City of Belmont must be listed as additionally insured for up to one million dollars with the name and address below:

- No later than 30 days before the event, the permit holder must bring the certificate of insurance to the Belmont Parks and Rec Office and complete a Special Equipment form, providing additional payment for the permit ($100) and refundable deposit ($250)
Due to the severe drought in California and water damage, Belmont Parks and Recreation is not approving permit requests for special equipment that requires water (dunk tanks, slip n’ slides, etc.).
*All dogs must be on leash (BMC Ordinance Section 5-6(1)).
