Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting

See the agenda here (posted here one week prior). The City of Belmont Parks & Recreation Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Some or all commission members may participate in this meeting by teleconference as authorized by Executive Order N-29-20.  The public may view the meeting live at, at, or on Comcast Channel 27.  The public may also attend the meeting in the City Council Chambers and address the commission from the chambers. Social distancing must be practiced and seating will be limited. Members of the public watching remotely may participate in the ā€œPublic Comment on Items Not on the Agendaā€ portion of the meeting by sending an email to before the meeting has ended and may address the commission regarding other agenda items by sending an email to before the commission considers the item. Please indicate the agenda item topic or agenda item number you wish to comment on in your emailā€™s subject line. In addition, spoken comments will be accepted via Zoom (please find directions below). If you only wish to watch the meeting and do not need to address the commission, we request that you view the meeting through the online web stream or on Channel 27.

Zoom participation instructions:

1. You may be asked to enter an email address and name. We request that you identify yourself by name as this will be visible online and will be used to notify you that it is your turn to speak.

2. When the commission chair calls for the item on which you wish to speak, click on "raise hand." The secretary will unmute speakers in turn. Speakers will be notified shortly before they are called to speak.

3. When called, please limit your remarks to the time limit allotted (generally three minutes). Please note that you will be muted at the end of your allotted time to aid in the meeting flow and ensure an equal chance to speak among all members of the public.
