Investigations & Youth Services

The Investigations Bureau conducts follow-up on reports taken by patrol officers and conducts criminal and non-criminal investigations.  Detectives work with officers and investigators from law enforcement agencies throughout the country.  Investigations is staffed by a Detective Sergeant and two Detectives.

The Youth Services Unit works within the Investigations Bureau and is staffed by two School Resource Officers (SRO).  One SRO is assigned primarily to Carlmont High School, Notre Dame High School and Notre Dame de Namur University.  The second SRO/GREAT Coordinator is assigned primarily to our other schools and coordinates our Gang Resistance Education & Training program.
